Using Certification to Advance Your Career

The knowledge obtained in studying for CSI’s certifications can help you better understand the roles and responsibilities of each of the participants in our industry. Applying this knowledge can make us more efficient in our jobs, and showing these credentials can help advance careers.

The basic building block of the certification program, the Construction Document Technologist or CDT, is undergoing changes to be recognized as a full certification and be integrated into college curriculum. This session will explain the ongoing changes as well as look at how members use certification to move up in their careers.
