The pilgrims landed in Plymouth Harbor in 1620. On the 400th anniversary, the restored Mayflower will sail back into the harbor in early May. The NE Region CSI will land in Plymouth a few days later for our annual region conference. In keeping with the historic nature of this time and location, our sessions have taken the theme LONGEVITY / DURABILITY / RESILIENCY – Building on History to Create the Future.
A few highlights – our Friday luncheon keynote will feature the “Dean of Building Science” Joseph Lstiburek, Ph.D., P.Eng., ASHRAE Fellow. Our featured presenter to end the daytime events will be the man responsible for the Mayflower restoration, Whit Perry, Director of Maritime Preservation and Operations at Plimoth Plantation. By popular demand, Saturday will feature a revival of SPECtalks – a TED style event for members of the construction industry.
Check out the conference page for details on the schedule and individual sessions. Registration and hotel reservations are open now.
