Hello CSI members in the Northeast Region,
The summer is winding down, kids are soon to be back at school, and for most of us “normal life” will be returning shortly in business and elsewhere. We recently held our Regional Board of Directors meeting, and it was great to hear from many of you and also see the kinds of programs and efforts that are going on throughout the whole Northeast.
This summer, the Institute recognized 3 longstanding CSI members from our region as Member Emeritus! They are:
I’ve had the privilege of meeting all 3, and have worked alongside 2 of them via some CSI efforts. Thank you to all of them… they have done so much for CSI over the years!
At the Region level, we are trying to kickstart a new webpage and database of AIA (and other) programs that various chapters have put on over the past year or 2. We are looking for a new Chairperson for this important regional committee. If that sound interesting to you, please reach out to myself or Terri.
Chapter leaders – Please do not forget about the Annual Check-in, which is due on September 30th. If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at the Region.
Lastly, all members – Please consider attending the National CSI Conference, which is being held in Minneapolis on October 4-6th. We hope to see a good contingent from the Northeast.
As always, thanks for your efforts in making CSI the community for the AEC industry.
Best regards,
Ken
