Awards are one way a volunteer organization can say THANK YOU to those who give of their time to serve their fellow members and make CSI and the Northeast Region a great organization.

Awards are typically presented at a banquet at the annual conference.
The Distinguished Service Award, a medallion, is the most prestigious award given by the Northeast Region of CSI. Its purpose is for the Region to give special recognition to those individuals whose long-term commitment, exemplary performance, and significant contributions have helped the Region and their chapter to develop, grow and improve. The Distinguished Service Award is not intended to duplicate the honor and recognition conferred by the national award of Institute Fellowship, but rather to recognize those individuals whose activity has been primarily at the local and regional level in support of the Northeast Region and its chapters. Those nominated for this award must have been a member in good standing for a minimum of 10 years.
