Hello Chapter Leaders,
This year’s conference—Kicking off Project Success Buffalo Proud—is packed with networking, tours and high-impact content that will make it a truly special event, including:
- Thursday welcome reception and after-hours hospitality suite
- Friday tours of the Frank Lloyd Wright Darwin Martin House and the Richardson-Olmsted Campus
- Friday education sessions on ethical AI use by design professionals, use of tax credits as a driver for renovating and repurposing buildings in urban centers, mechanics of specifications preparation for improving clarity and reducing risk, a moderated panel discussion on product evaluation, selection, and procurement, and one other session.
- Friday cocktail party, Presidents Banquet and after-hours networking
- Saturday programming featuring a tribute to Marty Helly, a Northeast Region update, SPEC Talks (TED-style sessions) on Niagara Falls daredevils, stained glass, and an overview of a recent visit to Antarctica and Patagonia by one of our members
- The conference location in Buffalo NY includes a surprising number of interesting local attractions, including Niagara Falls, proximity to Toronto, and many others, as indicated on Things To Do In, And Near, Buffalo NY. Buffalo has an incredible architectural heritage, as partially described in various articles at Selected Points of Interest in Buffalo NY. The conference venue, conveniently located in the center of downtown Buffalo is within easy walking distance of numerous, quality Restaurants and Bars Near the Conference. While Buffalo may perhaps appear remote from some areas of the Northeast Region, a trip to Western New York for this year’s conference will be well worth it
How you can help:
- Promote the conference locally – Share the schedule and registration link with your members: https://conference.nercsi.com/schedule/
- Encourage attendance – Personally reach out to key members, emerging professionals and industry partners
Your support is critical to ensuring strong participation and regional engagement.

Best regards,
